When you fill in our quote form or get in touch, we collect:

• Your email address
• Your phone number
• Your postcode
• The service you need and your property type
• Any details you choose to share about your project

If you call or email us, we also keep the information you give us in that conversation. We do not collect special category data, and we do not knowingly collect information from children.

How we use your information

We use your information to:

• Respond to your enquiry and answer your questions
• Visit, assess and prepare a written quote for your job
• Carry out and manage any work you ask us to do
• Keep records of the work and our communication with you

Our lawful bases for this under UK GDPR are: taking steps at your request before entering into a contract (preparing your quote); our legitimate interests in responding to enquiries and running our business; performing our contract with you once you accept a quote; and meeting our legal obligations, such as keeping records for tax.

Who we share it with

We do not sell your information. We share it only with the service providers that help us run the business:

• Our website and form provider, which processes and delivers your form submission to us
• Our email provider, where your enquiry arrives and is stored
• Specialist subcontractors or professional advisers (such as an accountant), only where needed to carry out or account for your work

Some of these providers may store data outside the UK. Where they do, they are required to protect it to UK standards.

How long we keep it

• Enquiries that do not turn into a job: up to 12 months, then deleted.
• Records relating to completed work and payment: kept for 6 years, to meet tax and legal requirements.

Your rights

Under UK data protection law you have the right to:

• Ask for a copy of the information we hold about you
• Ask us to correct information that is wrong
• Ask us to delete your information, where there is no reason for us to keep it
• Ask us to restrict or object to how we use it
• Ask us to transfer your information to you or another provider
• Withdraw your consent at any time, where we rely on consent

Cookies

This website does not use tracking or advertising cookies, and we do not run analytics that profile you. Our fonts are served by Google Fonts, which may receive your device's IP address as a normal part of delivering the fonts. If we add analytics or other cookies in future, we will update this policy and ask for your consent where it is required.
